IF WE ARE ENERGY
This video was made in response to a prompt about how light is ever-changing and how energy radiates beyond the edges of a person, living thing, plant, or object. I was inspired by Alex Katz, and thinking about how transient, brief, and precious each moment we have on this wonderland of a planet is.
This is a meditation on how the world around us is in constant visual and conditional flux. “To be in the present and work in the present is an opportunity to dance with the world, landscape, or cityscape as it rapidly changes and extract something obscure, missed, or unseen by others. Art as a constant veiling and unveiling of unfixed landscapes, emotions, and energy.” Scott Fuller.
